Launched in January 2002, the handyperson service employs two handymen who carry out a variety of minor household repairs and adaptations to the homes of older and disabled people. These may include:
- Minor joinery repairs
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Fitting grab rails or stair rails
- Re-glazing small windows
- Fitting locks, window locks and door chains
- Draught proofing
- Fitting curtain rails
The service is a low - cost service and there are no call out charges.
