If you are interested in buying a home through the scheme, the first step is for you to fill in an application form. This will enable Fairlake to determine whether you meet our 8 point eligibility criteria.
Once we have received your completed application will will "assess" your form and write to you to let you know whether we think that we will be able to help you. We always try to do this within 2 weeks of receipt of your application.
If we are able to help you, we will provide you with your own unique registration number and will tell you how much you can afford, based on the information that you have provided. As a guideline, we use a mortgage multiplier of 3.75 times single slary and 3.5 times joint salaries.
It is essential that once you are accepted on the scheme, you MUST keep us informed of any change of circumstances.
We allocate our homes and public funding responsibly and although we would like to help as many people as possible, we cannot help you if you do not meet the eligibility criteria.
