The Seren Group is seeking Non-Executive Board Members to help shape communities of the future.
We are one of the largest providers of social housing and associated community care services in Wales.
We are a not-for-profit organisation and currently employ over 600 people, manage 4,500 homes and have an annual turnover of over £26 million.
Our customers are local people looking for housing solutions, and our job is to make the process readily available, efficient and sustainable.
Can you help?
If you have skills or experience in relevant areas such as housing, property development, law, finance, health or community work then we are keen to hear from you. Alternatively you may be involved with a local community group or business, or importantly have an understanding of the area and the concerns of local people.
As well as personal and professional development, as a Seren Group Non-Executive Board Member you will have the opportunity to contribute to an important and valued local organisation and to put something back into the community.
The role
As a Board Member you will need to be able to attend six Board meeting per year, usually in the evening, plus occasional additional events and induction. Ongoing training will also be provided. The work we do can be challenging and whilst carrying no remuneration, is extremely rewarding.
