Who we are
Newport Care & Repair Agency is a non-profit making Home Improvement Agency launched in March 2000. The Agency was established to provide a valuable service to older and disabled people in the County and recently celebrated its 5000th client.
The service has proved very effective in targeting resources to the more vulnerable members of society, people suffering from disability, ill health, poor housing and low incomes. The Agency is managed by Fairlake Properties and is funded in partnership with the Welsh Assembly Government, Newport City Council and Newport Local Health Board. The Agency is supported by Care & Repair Cymru, the umbrella organisation for Care & Repair Agencies in Wales.
Newport Care & Repair provides a service tailored to meet individual's needs by giving advice, support and practical assistance to ease the stress on clients when needing repair or adaptation work carried out in their homes. This enables people to remain independent in their homes in warmth, comfort and security. |
